• Demonstrations
o Pyrethrum
 Field officer from PCT conducted spoke about advantages of growing pyrethrum. He assured the villagers that there is reliable market of pyrethrum. PCT will get into contracts with farmers to buy from them with a good price. A famer has to follow appropriate agronomic practices to get high quality flowers. He then instructed them about appropriate land preparation for growing pyrethrum. Thus villagers were instructed to prepare a plot for pyrethrum demonstration plot.
 After PCT field officer spoke, participants wanted to know where they could be getting seedlings for the pyrethrum plots. Mr. Chaula told them that current, PCT provides seedlings to the farmers. Nursery will be established close to the village and from it seedlings will be distributed to those who want to grow pyrethrum.

Questions

Conclusion
Villagers were told that pyrethrum requires good management. For flower to get high price in the market, appropriate agronomic practices should be carried out on appropriate time. This is the main reason of establishing a pyrethrum demonstration plot here. It is expected that from the demonstration plots people will lean the practices and apply in their farms.
