There has been communication problem to this Parish. Pastor was not aware that we are coming today. He thought we will be coming the next day. We met few people at the Pastors house. We told them we will demonstrate to them and we assume they will pass the training to other parish members. We did demonstration close to the Pastor’s house.
Purpose of the visit
• To deliver bean seeds, fertilizers and pesticides

• Monthly weeding after tasseling
2. Demonstration on second fertilizer application on corn
There was demonstration on planting and fertilization of beans on rows 30cm apart and 10cm between plants. Also there was a demonstration on how do second applications of fertilizer in corn
3. Insecticide Application.
We instructed them on how to apply the insecticide on both corn and beans and the recommended rates to apply.

We delivered been seeds, fertilizers and insecticides

Corn and Bean Plots Discussion
Corn was planted on December 12, 2011. The plants look good Spacing have been properly followed. The plot look good and plants are healthy. The bean plot is in another side of the church. Bean have not been planted yet but the plot has already been prepared for planting beans
Conclusion
Pastor said he has been getting questions from the people who pass by the corn plots. The plants look good than the neighboring plants. People want to know type of seeds, fertilizers and spacing used. We told them that is good information. That is the purpose of the demonstration plots. We want people who see it to learn from it and adopt what farming techniques and utilize them in their own farms.
