Demonstration on how to plant and apply fertilizers was conducted. They participated in planting and applying fertilizer in the demonstration plot.

We instructed them to plant Local variety in the demo plot. The local varieties do not yield high but they have high ability to tolerate continuous rainfall. This will prevent or reduce the rooting incidents after maturity.

Conclusion
There have been low improvements in these plots. Management has been a problem here. The parish members were told importance of taking good care of the demonstration plots. The training conducted in these plots can help to increase productivity hence to improve their livelihoods.
